Mizuno mp-32, Iron Clubs, Steel Shaft
Richie C, Europe
Handicap: 10-20, Age: 19-49
Soft so you need headcovers, but never store them in covers, rust spots will appear!! Otherwise, FANTASTIC they feel like butter knives and would suit a 14-16 h/capp looking for game improvement!!

The ball flies off the ignite which give you the confidence needed to take your time and make follow thru for added distance. Tommy Armour

Cleveland, Halo Utility Clubs, Graphite Shaft
Charlie, Iowa

I got these clubs to replace my long irons. They produce nice loft and distance of a 5 wood and a 7 wood.

Driver, Graphite Shaft
Andy, Massachusetts
Handicap: 10 or below, Age: 19-49
I picked up this driver 8.5 degree, with a Speeder X shaft about a year ago. I've been playing for 15 years, and have always been a long hitter. I had never carried a graphite stick in the bag before. This is the best performing driver/shaft setup I have ever hit for higher swing speeds. I would recommend this combo to any longer player who wants to add distance and a great feel for working the ball both ways. The head I would recommed that any golfer try for its unbelieveable length and forgiveness.
TaylorMade, R540 XD Driver, Steel Shaft
Mizzle, California
Handicap: 10-20, Age: 19-49
This club is awesome. It has added at least 15 yards to my drive and is straight than my Callaway Big Bertha that I've played for 7 years. Worth every penny. Callaway, 2004 Big Bertha Iron Set
Phil, Florida
Handicap: 20-30, Age: 50 or older
I've been playing for 20+ years and my swing speed has slowed down some. With the graphite shafts, I just love the "feel" of these clubs. Very forgiving yet playable
MacGregger, V-Foil Putter designed by Bobby Grace
Johnny, California
Handicap: 10-20, Age: 19-49
I always found it difficult to aim right. I just bought this putter and my aiming problem was by and large solved. Also, this puter has"high momentus of inertia", so the putter is less likely to twist at impact. A great investment to lower your score!
Adams Idea Iron Clubs , Graphite Shaft
George, Wisconsin
Handicap: 30+, Age: 50 or older
Very nice feel to them and the hybrid clubs are much easier to hit than a 3, 4 iron.
TayMade R 540 XD Driver, Steel Shaft
Brandon, Michigan
Handicap: 10-20 Age: 19 to 49
I just bought this new driver on the market and my game has already been improving. This driver has such an amazing feel and gives off much more distance then other drivers out there. I recommend it for anyone who wants more distance off their drives with less effort put into their swings
Ping Tec 11.5 Degrees Driver, Graphite Shaft
Tom, Illinois
Handicap: 10-29
After trying over a dozen drivers I went to a golf shop with a launch monitor and discovered I was launching the ball at 7 degrees vrs the recommended 11 to 15 degrees. I went to the Ping Tec 11.5 degrees driver and launch conditions were right on the money. The Loft on the club face may not be the measurable loft but the trajectory loft instead. I will never buy a club by looks alone again. The monitors do not lie. Peter, Orange, CA
Handicap: 0-10
I do not want to recommend any specific clubs as different clubs are designed for different types of golfers. I do not want to do free advertising for club manufacturers. One thing drives me crazy is that I observed that there are so many amateur golfers out there who are truly obsessed with stiff steel shafts. Guys, unless you can produce a really fast swing speed. Choose graphite shafts! Trust me, you would like that extra whip!
Curv Convex Putter
Scotty, New York
Handicap: 0-10
Curv Convex Putter made by Smart Tech Golf. Curved putting face allow for an open or closed face at impact...making more putts than ever.
TaylorMade 540 Driver
Nathan, Berkeley, CA
Handicap: 10-20
I finally switched from a Taylor Made 320 driver to a 540. Man, I love it. This is a lot more forgiving and feels so much better too. My consistency improved a great deal. Let me put it this way, now I can smash it 6-7 times every 10 shots vs. only 4-5 times with my old driver. Way to go!
Top Flite Extreme Club Set
Daniel, Alberta, Canada
Handicap: Scratch golfer
I like the Top Flite Extreme. I have been playing this game for almost 15 years. I have tried many clubs but nothing like these. I am a par player and I just like to prove that you don't have to spend lots of $$$ for a good shot. My set cost $300 Canadian and it includes 9 irons, and 3&5 wood, and Driver.
Big Bertha Iron Set
Harold, Orlando, FL
Handicap: 30+
The Big Bertha iron set are extremely forgiving. Listen, I am a senior citizen and I just started playing a couple of months ago. I tried a few different sets. But nothing came even close. Big Bertha clubs make it so easy to hit it straight!
Callaway Steelhead X-16 Iron Set
Josh, Hartford, CT
Handicap: Don't know
I am brand new to the game. Against the advice from my golfer friends, I bought a set of Callaway Steelhead X-16. I don't have any problems! They are easy. Of course, I don't know whether there are other clubs out there that are even easier. |
